Dr Regan Leslie
Principal Dentist & Owner
Originally from New Zealand, Dr Regan Leslie completed his dental degree at the University of Otago in 2009 before building over 15 years of experience across private practices in New Zealand and Australia, with postgraduate training completed across several continents.
Dr Leslie has completed a postgraduate diploma in implants through the Cambridge Institute in the UK and is currently completing a postgraduate diploma in orthodontics. He holds a formal mentorship role through the Implant Institute, training dentists across Australia in implant placement and complex rehabilitation. His clinical focus spans complex dental rehabilitation, full-arch implant solutions, smile makeovers, TMJ treatment, sleep apnoea, and interdisciplinary restorative care.
Dr Leslie has a particular interest in cases that other practices refer out, including patients with significant tooth loss and advanced TMJ concerns. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and accepts self-referred and referred patients from throughout Queensland for complex implant assessments and full-arch rehabilitation planning.
Dr Patricio Holmberg
Dentist
Dr Pat has provided services at Yandina Dental since 2022. Growing up in Chile, Dr Patricio Holmberg graduated as a dentist before obtaining professional recognition through the Australian Dental Council. Shortly after graduating, he completed an internship at the University of Washington in the USA, and previously worked as a lecturer in Oral Pathology and tutor in Oral Surgery before moving to Australia. During his university years, he also served as a volunteer firefighter, an experience that informs his calm, clear-headed approach under pressure.
Dr Holmberg holds a double certificate in implant dentistry through the International Team for Implantology curriculum and the University of Melbourne Implant Masterclass, and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the University of Sydney. His professional interests include implant dentistry, oral surgery, digital treatment planning, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Outside the clinic, Dr Holmberg enjoys spending quality time with his family, motorcycle riding, and exploring the great outdoors around the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Michelle Chew
Dentist
Dr Michelle Chew completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction at the University of Otago in 2017, where she was awarded the Craddock Prize in Complete Removable Prosthodontics, the Sir John Walsh Research Scholarship, and the University of Otago Scholarship in Dentistry.
She began her career in New Zealand before relocating to the Sunshine Coast, where she practises across both Yandina Dental and Beerwah Dental. Dr Chew has a particular interest in combining function with aesthetics in restorative dentistry, and works closely alongside Dr Leslie on more complex smile makeover and implant cases. She completed her MBA at the University of Auckland in 2024 and is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology through the Implant Institute, expected to be completed in 2026.
Outside the clinic, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places with friends, and slowly discovering everything the Sunshine Coast and wider Queensland has to offer.
Dr Ashley Jones
Dentist
Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Dr Ashley Jones completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the prestigious University of Queensland before going on to build over 10 years of experience across a range of practice settings, from Toowoomba to Sydney CBD.
Dr Jones works across general dentistry, clear aligner treatment, veneers, crowns, root canals, and extractions, with a particular focus on patients who feel nervous about dental visits or who have been avoiding care for some time. She has completed multiple continuing education courses in clear aligner treatment and is committed to ongoing professional development in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Her approach centres on clear communication, genuine empathy, and a no-pressure environment where patients feel listened to throughout their care.
Outside the clinic, Ashley is kept wonderfully busy by her three young boys, loves the theatre, and takes the whole family on hikes whenever she possibly can.
Dr Khadija Agil
Dentist
After graduating from dental school in 2015, Dr Khadija Agil spent two years working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery before transitioning into general dental practice, bringing experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery to her general dental work. That surgical background gives her a thorough, considered approach to patient assessment that patients notice from the very first appointment. In 2023, she relocated to the Sunshine Coast, where she has become a valued part of the Yandina Dental team.
Dr Agil has a particular interest in helping patients manage dental anxiety and phobias, creating a calm and genuinely supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their care. She works closely with Dr Regan and the wider team to provide thorough, patient-centred general dentistry across both Yandina and Beerwah clinic locations.
Outside the clinic, Dr Agil is an active competitor in Hyrox and Paladin fitness events, and fully embraces the outdoor lifestyle the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

• $49/week for a single dental implant post (total treatment cost $2,600) is calculated over Y months with Z.
